Bates Electric Ltd. is a Canadian Electrical contracting company registered in British Columbia and formed in 1996. Owner Ken Bates earned his Red Seal journeyman certification in 1993, and has been active in the trade since 1987.

Ken has worked as a Foreman for both small and large Commercial and Industrial projects. Ken’s passion for electrical construction turned to the TV and Film industry in 1998, and he soon after became a member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 891, where he is currently a senior member in good standing.

Bates Electric Ltd. is an FSR certified contractor with Technical Safety BC Safety Authority. The company holds a 5 million dollar Liability Insurance policy and is in good standing with Worksafe BC.
